OLTL’s Jessica Morris and Melissa Archer’s New Project Revealed!

Tags:

A pair of ONE LIFE TO LIVE alums have teamed up again for a new movie! Melissa Archer (Natalie) and Jessica Morris (Jennifer) have co-written the screenplay for Web of Deceit, which has just started filming. “It’s finally happening!” Morris enthused on Instagram. “The very first script that Melissa and I wrote together is officially in production.”

And according to Archer, it’s been a long road to get to this point. “Jessica and I set out on this journey together in 2013,” she revealed. “Many, many iterations later, and eight years, here we are in Chi town making the movie. Dreams can come true when you least expect them and most definitely when you’re not watching waiting for the water to boil. I’m so grateful for our friendship, partnership, and shared dreams. Here’s to making it happen!”

OLTL fans will remember Morris as Jen Rappaport, a role she played from 1999-2008. After leaving daytime, she could be seen in episodes of CSI: NY, MIXOLOGY, and PARTY OF FIVE. Archer played Natalie Buchanan from 2001-13 and again in the short-lived OLTL online revival. She returned to daytime in 2014 to play Serena Mason on NBC sudser DAYS OF OUR LIVES. The pair have also appeared together in the streaming series LADIES OF THE LAKE and BEACON HILL.

Unfortunately, no further details regarding Web of Deceit are available at this time, so we don’t yet know if Archer and Morris are just the screenwriters or if they are also appearing in the film. And we also don’t know what it’s about or when and where it will be premiering. But with a soapy title like that, it sounds like a delicious Lifetime movie to us!
