Adrienne Frantz and Scott Bailey Welcome a Beautiful Baby Boy!
Now seating the Baileys, party of five! Adrienne Frantz — who played troublemaker Amber on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS — and her husband, Scott Bailey (Sandy, GUIDING LIGHT), have welcomed their third child, a son they named Killian Lachlan. “Hello, world!” the beaming mother wrote on Instagram, sharing a collage photo of her family, which included shots of Killian with his big sister, Amélie, 6, and brother Lion, almost 2. “Meet my angel baby! We are all so in love with him!”
Frantz shared in an Instagram post on March 1 that she was scheduled to deliver Killian the next day, and the couple’s fans have eagerly been awaiting news of the newest Bailey baby ever since. “It’s been a tough couple of weeks,” she admitted, explaining her delay in announcing her newborn’s birth. “I had some complications in delivery, then Amélie brought a bug home from school! You don’t know what it is like to be a mother of three until you have three sick babies!”
Hopefully, Frantz recovered quickly from the complications surrounding Killian’s birth. The actress nearly lost her life after delivering Lion in June 2020 due to multiple complications with his birth that included a bowel obstruction, her organs shutting down, and congestive heart failure. She’s often referred to her third child as her “miracle baby” on social media since she’s felt the unplanned pregnancy has helped her heal.
The Baileys celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in November, and it was in a sweet post to her husband that Frantz revealed the couple was expanding their family. “I love our kids and the one on the way!” she wrote to Bailey. “I can’t wait to meet him!” Then in January, Frantz opened up in an inspiring post about her struggles with body dysmorphia and how she was proudly embracing her changing pregnant body as it created life.
Now that everyone in the Bailey household has recovered from that nasty virus, it sounds like Frantz and her husband are settling into life as parents of three. “We feel blessed beyond belief to have this wonderful addition to the family,” she concluded her baby announcement. “Thank you for picking us, Killian!”
