Are Shauna and Flo Still on B&B? — Bradley Bell Speaks Out!

It’s been so long since the characters have been on the soap that many fans are wondering if Shauna and Flo are still on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL! Well, executive producer/headwriter Bradley Bell still considers both Denise Richards (Shauna) and Katrina Bowden (Flo) a part of the show’s cast.

Bowden debuted as Flo in January 2019 and enjoyed multiple front-burner storylines until she last appeared in March 2021 when Flo legally changed her last name to Logan and Wyatt proposed to her (which would then change her last name to Spencer!). However, since that proposal, Flo has remained unseen as Bowden has appeared in movies like Great White and The Most Colorful Time of the Year.

Richards joined the cast of B&B as Flo’s mother, Shauna, in April 2019, and after her own dramatic storylines, fell onto the back burner as well. Although she did make a brief appearance in October 2022 when Carter went to her hoping she could explain why Quinn had dumped him. (She couldn’t!)

“In my mind, Shauna and Flo are ‘out there,’” Bell explained in a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest. “I think the world of both actresses and I’d love to plug them in. At any moment, if they’re available, I’d be honored to have both of those characters and actresses back.”

So since Flo is technically still engaged to Wyatt, hopefully, one day soon we’ll actually get to see the characters tie the knot. (Unless she breaks up with him off camera as Quinn did with Carter after Rena Sofer exited the soap…) And then we’d get to see Shauna again because she wouldn’t want to miss her daughter’s big day!
