Darin Brooks Celebrates His B&B Anniversary!

Please join us in congratulating Darin Brooks on his 10th anniversary of playing THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Wyatt Spencer! A B&B fan on Twitter reminded the actor that he made his debut on the soap aired on May 21, 2013, and Brooks could hardly believe that it’s been a decade. “Jeez! Has it been 10 years already!?!?” he commented. “Man, time flies when you’re having fun!”

Back when Brooks — who previously played Max Brady on DAYS OF OUR LIVES — was introduced, the character went by Wyatt Fuller. (Raised by a single mom, Wyatt grew up not knowing that publishing magnate Bill Spencer was his father.) Viewers, and amateur photographer Hope Forrester, first got a glimpse of the handsome newcomer when he was taking an outdoor shower at his home in Big Bear. After Wyatt caught Hope snapping pictures of him as he bathed au natural, she took off into the forest and fell, knocking herself unconscious. Having followed her, Wyatt came to her rescue and awakened the sleeping beauty with a kiss before bringing her back to her cabin.

Completely smitten with the blonde beauty, Wyatt followed Hope back to Los Angeles… and eventually learned that not only was he Bill Spencer’s son, but that Hope had an on-again/off-again relationship with his half-brother, Liam.

Reflecting on the roller coaster ride he’s been on while playing Wyatt for the past decade, Brooks shared his gratitude to all those who supported him along the way, including B&B headwriter and executive producer Brad Bell. “Thanks to CBS and everyone at B&B, but most of all, thank you to the man himself, Brad Bell, for asking me to be a part of this wonderfully talented, fun group of people!”

Not forgetting about the viewers who tune in to see him in action each day, Brooks signed off with a special note to them. “And the fans! Love you all!” he concluded.

Congratulations again to Brooks on this milestone!
