Denise Richards Reveals How She Raises Her Teen Daughters

On last season’s THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS, viewers saw that Denise Richards (Shauna, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) is surprisingly firm when it comes to the freedoms she allows her two older daughters, Sam, 16, and Lola, 15. “My parents were strict with me, so that’s how I was raised,” she explained to Soaps In Depth. “So I’m about the same, I would have to say. However, I know it’s a different time now from when I was younger, which my daughters are constantly reminding me of.”

If anything, Richards thinks it’s even more difficult to be a teenager in this day and age. “There’s a lot of pressure on kids growing up now,” she said. “I am just glad that social media wasn’t around when I was a teenager!”
