B&B’s Denise Richards Shares How Her Daughters Make Mother’s Day Special (EXCLUSIVE)

Tags:

It’s not difficult to give THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Denise Richards (Shauna) what she’d love for Mother’s Day —even this year, when it’s still safer at home. “My kids know that all I really ask is for them to bring me coffee and breakfast in bed,” she admitted to Soaps In Depth, “and they take care of it. Because I usually do work a lot and am really busy — and the kids are also busy — an ideal Mother’s Day for me is just being together” with them.

Having three lovely daughters — Sam, 17, Lola, 15, and Eloise, 9 — means bonding over “girly” activities whenever they have the time. “My girls all love getting their nails done, so we’ll go get manicures and pedicures together, and we love shopping together,” Richards said. “It’s been fun for me, especially in these last few years, to see how their styles have changed. I love taking moments where it’s just me and the girls connecting.”

Now that her daughters are getting older, they’re even using their own initiative to pamper their mama in ways that go well beyond coffee in bed. “A few years ago, my two older daughters surprised me and had a masseuse come and give me a massage, and they took care of Eloise for me while I did that,” the actress revealed. “It was so touching that they came up with that idea on their own and did it.”

At the end of the day, however, the B&B star doesn’t need any grand gesture to feel appreciated. “I like the simple things. I always ask the older girls if they can do me a huge favor on Mother’s Day and have no arguments with each other,” Richards said with a chuckle. “It’s all about family, being together, having quality time, and the teenagers not fighting with each other!”
