Eagle-eyed viewers noticed some bulky wardrobe choices that make them wonder is Steffy pregnant on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL? Well before the character announced she was expecting, actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood had been covering her growing baby bump because she is pregnant with her second child with husband Elan Ruspoli. “Round two!” she cheered when she announced the blessed news back in October.
Wood and her hubby already have a son, Rise, who was born back in March 2019. The actress’ first pregnancy was not written into her B&B storyline a the time as Steffy had just given birth to her daughter, Kelly, relatively recently. But this time around, an unexpected pregnancy was the perfect dramatic twist for the soap!
Because ending up preggers is definitely a complication Steffy doesn’t need in her life right now! She will have to pretend that the baby was actually fathered by her boyfriend, Finn, or risk blowing up everyone’s lives with the shocking truth. (Although there could always be a surprise twist that after thinking it’s Liam’s the baby turns out to be Finn’s after all!)
Of course, Liam and Steffy only slept together in the beginning of December, and Wood is due to give birth in real-life in February, so the timing won’t quite match. Steffy won’t give birth until after Wood returns from maternity leave, meaning the actress will have to don some fake pregnancy pads when she comes back to work!
