Kelly Spencer on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL sure is a cutie! Born in June 2018, the infant was played by Gabriel Sporman, Zoe Pennington, and Chloe Teperman until twins Colette and Avalon Gray took over the role in February 2020. Then, in June 2022, Remington Evans stepped into the role temporarily before it was recast with Sophia McKinlay, who continues to appear as the little girl to this day. Kelly is named after Kelly Hopkins, Liam’s late mother who was never seen on B&B.
Like many babies on soaps, Kelly’s paternity was in question right from the start. Steffy Forrester was married to Liam Spencer, but when he found out she’d taken a paternity test behind his back, he was horrified to learn that she’d cheated on him with his father, Bill Spencer! Although the test confirmed that the baby was Liam’s child, once Kelly was born, their marriage continued to crumble.
Learning that Hope Logan was pregnant with his baby, Liam promised Steffy they would remain a family but was reluctant to remarry, so she called it quits. Eager to give Kelly a sibling, Steffy adopted a baby girl she named Phoebe, but who turned out to be Liam and Hope’s baby that was stolen at birth!
After another failed attempt to rekindle things with Liam, Steffy found herself falling for handsome doctor John “Finn” Finnegan, and wound up pregnant with his child! Unfortunately, she once again wasn’t sure who the father was because she’d had a one-night stand with Liam, but in the end, tests proved that Finn was the daddy, and Kelly was finally given her sibling — her baby brother, Hayes!
Kelly was happy to have Finn as her new stepfather when he married her mommy, though tragedy struck when he was shot and believed killed. Steffy took Kelly and Hayes to Europe to get away and mend her broken heart, and thankfully it was later revealed that Finn hadn’t died and the family was finally reunited. However, Sheila Carter remained on the loose and Steffy feared for the safety of her children. While playing at the beach with Finn, Kelly got swept up in the waves while Finn had his back turned and Sheila raced into the ocean to rescue the little girl! After being saved, Kelly was surprised to learn that the woman who pulled her out of the water was Finn’s mother.
