B&B’s Krista Allen Shares One of the Funniest Moments in Her Career
A fan’s tweet brought back some memories for THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Krista Allen (Taylor), including a rather shocking misunderstanding at an airport that she can laugh about now!
Back in 2000, Allen appeared in a few episodes of the very first season of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION as Kristy Hopkins, a prostitute and love interest for George Eads’ character Nick Stokes. (It didn’t end well as the character was murdered in her third appearance!)
But when a fan tweeted a photo he took of his television as he was watching her in one of her old CSI shows, Allen revealed that it was one of the original Vegas episodes and then shared a very funny story. “When I was at the airport going to film the pilot episode of CSI,” the actress recalled, “the person giving me my tickets asked what I was going to do in Vegas. I said, ‘I’m going to shoot a pilot.’
“I was stopped on the way to the gate by security and I had to explain what I meant,” Allen added with a laugh. Yikes! In retrospect, perhaps “film a pilot” might have been a better turn of phrase to use in an airport… “This was a really funny memory in my career,” she admitted.
In addition to recently joining the cast of B&B as the new Taylor Hayes, Allen played Billie Reed on DAYS OF OUR LIVES and has quite the extensive resume with roles on series like BAYWATCH, CHARMED, WHAT ABOUT BRIAN, THE STARTER WIFE, The L.A. COMPLEX, and SIGNIFICANT MOTHER among countless guest appearances to her credit. So she must have a ton of other hilarious stories to share!
