Eagle-eyed viewers might have noticed a surprising but familiar name showing up in the credits of the April 15 episode of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL — Carter himself, Lawrence Saint-Victor! “So this happened!” the actor/producer/director/writer proudly shared on social media. “An episode that I had the privilege of writing aired today. It was such a learning experience. Thank you, [headwriter/executive producer] Brad Bell for giving me the opportunity, and to our amazing writers and the entire team for all of your support.”

Saint-Victor joined the cast of B&B back in January 2013 as attorney Carter Walton, returning to daytime after his 2006-09 stint as Remy Boudreau on CBS sudser GUIDING LIGHT. But this isn’t the actor’s first foray behind the camera. In 2009, he wrote, produced, and directed the web series WED LOCKED, co-starring Karla Mosley (ex-Maya, B&B), and in 2010, he wrote and co-directed the short film The Forgiven. Heck, this wasn’t even his first stab at soap writing as he has two 2015 episodes of B&B in his IMDb writing credits!

Unfortunately, Saint-Victor didn’t reveal exactly what scenes in the April 15 episode he was responsible for writing, because he was also appearing in that show and it would be fun to know that he was able to write his own dialogue for all his scenes as Carter!

Longtime fans will also recall that Heather Tom (Katie) has directed episodes of B&B, so whenever you’re watching the soap, be sure to keep an eye on the credits, because you never know when you’ll spot a familiar name as an actor branches out to expand their career!
