Patrick Duffy Returns to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL!
Welcome back! Patrick Duffy is returning to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL as family patriarch Stephen Logan for a pair of episodes in November, and he’s bringing along someone very special — his real-life girlfriend, Linda Purl, who recently played Peyton on GENERAL HOSPITAL!
The character of Stephen Logan was introduced back in 1988 and played by Robert Pine until 2001. But in 2006, the character was brought back to the canvas played by the DALLAS alum. Duffy portrayed the Logan patriarch on a recurring basis making sporadic appearances until 2011.
People is reporting that Duffy will reprise the role for two episodes slated to air on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and Monday, Nov. 28. Purl, who has also appeared on shows like HAPPY DAYS, THE OFFICE, and MATLOCK, will be playing his love interest on the soap.
While the dates would seem to indicate that Stephen is coming for a family visit at Thanksgiving, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be all smiles and happiness as he reconnects with his daughters. Stephen may be pleased to see Donna happy again with Eric, but he’ll likely have something to say about Ridge dumping Brooke and whatever’s going on between Katie and Carter. Plus, how will the three women react to the new woman in their father’s life?
