Scott Clifton Announces He and Wife Nikki Have Separated
Please join us in sending love to THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Scott Clifton (Liam) and his wife, Nikki, who have just announced their separation after 10 years of marriage.
Clifton shared the sad news with Soap Opera Digest, expressing in a statement: “My wife, Nikki, and I have decided to separate. Actually, we have been separated for some time now. She remains my best friend in the world, my partner in crime, and my closest confidant, and the decision has only deepened the love and respect we have for one another.
“Our choice was born of a commitment to one another’s happiness and, above all, giving our son, Ford, the best life we can,” Clifton continued. “We are grateful for everyone’s support and ask that you please respect our privacy as we navigate whatever the future may hold.”
The couple celebrated their 10th anniversary back in October. They were married on Oct. 20, 2012, shortly after he joined the cast of B&B as Liam Spencer. The actor had previously played Dillon Quartermaine on GENERAL HOSPITAL and Schuyler Joplin on ONE LIFE TO LIVE. They welcomed their son, Ford, on May 6, 2016, and the adorable little boy will be turning 7 this spring.
