THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL Spoilers: Who Will Get Custody of Douglas?

A custody battle is brewing in these THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL spoilers! Thomas wants custody of his son, but given his history, that could be easier said than done! Well, unless Thomas has some new scheme in mind!

With Douglas’ biological mother, Caroline, dead, Hope stepped up to help raise the boy. And when Thomas suffered a brain tumor that caused him to act erratically, Hope took over raising the boy. Once Thomas recovered, they attempted to co-parent Douglas, but things got sticky when Hope felt she was being pushed out of her son’s life.

“Douglas is my son and I need to know he’s safe,” Hope declares. And given Thomas’ recent deception where he framed Brook for calling CPS on him so Ridge would dump her and marry Taylor, his parenting skills are definitely coming into question.

“I need my son,” Thomas flatly informs a wary Hope. “That is why I had these drawn up.” He reaches into his bag and pulls out a folder containing custody papers. Hope takes the folder and looks inside, stunned by what she sees. “Is this serious?” she asks, hoping it’s all just a sick joke.

Later, Hope shares the papers with Liam, who can’t imagine how Thomas could possibly think he’d get custody of Douglas given his recent actions. “Thomas has some trick up his sleeve,” he warns his wife. Meanwhile, Thomas shares his plans with Steffy, who warns her brother not to get his hopes up. “Be prepared to be let down,” she cautions. “You might lose complete custody of your son tomorrow.”

Does Thomas simply think he deserves full custody of Douglas? Or does he have another underhanded scheme in mind to help him achieve his goal? Check out this tease for the dramatic week of B&B coming up!
