Bill and Katie have not had what you’d call a fairy-tale romance, and after she found out he’d kissed Brooke, she kicked him to the curb once again. But has enough time passed that she’s finally in a forgiving mood? “I love you so much,” Bill insists. “I miss the way you fit in my arms. I want you back.”
Standing in his office, Katie responds to Bill’s heartfelt plea by opening up herself. “I don’t know that I can trust you with my heart,” she admits, tears streaming down her face. Bill knows that he’s hurt her in the past and he’ll never be able to erase that pain. But he also knows that he’s nothing without her. “I need you,” he declares. “And I think you need me, too. Let me come home.”
Has Bill run out of second chances or might Katie find it in her heart to forgive him and take him back? It’s clear these two still love each other very much. But is that enough?
