The truth about Eric’s condition continues to spread through the family this week on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. But even as everyone wants to offer Eric their sympathies, that’s the last thing in the world he wants!
Following the Forrester fashion face-off between father and son, Ridge finally learned the truth about Eric’s health. Brooke, who also discovered the awful secret, now shares it with Hope. “It’s Eric,” she informs her stunned daughter. “He’s dying.”
Brooke is also by Ridge’s side when he breaks the sad news to his own children. “There’s something you both need to know about your grandfather,” he announces to Thomas and Steffy. However, he reiterates that while the immediate family can be in the loop, “Dad doesn’t want anyone to know.” Steffy is heartbroken and insists, “I want to see him,” while Thomas mutters, “This can’t be happening.”
When Katie stops by the mansion to offer her support, Eric continues to stand firm and insists on proceeding as normal. “I don’t want pity,” he declares. “It’s not the way I live my life. It’s not the way I want to end it, either.”
“I don’t want to lose my dad,” Ridge sadly confesses to Brooke. But is there anything that can be done to save Eric’s life or should everyone be preparing to say goodbye? You won’t want to miss any of the emotional week of B&B coming up!
