Thorsten Kaye Teases What’s Next for Ridge on B&B

While viewers learned that Ridge hadn’t really left town and was secretly working with Bill off-camera to help trap Sheila, portrayer Thorsten Kaye was enjoying his vacation from THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. The actor was able to spend some quality time with his family and get some things done around the house, but also went with them on a trip to Europe!

But now that Kaye is back in the studio and picking up Ridge’s story where it left off (with the added wrinkle of being mixed up in the scheme to bring Sheila down once and for all), the question on the minds of many fans is which of the two women in his life he’ll turn to.

Thomas’ manipulations to bring Ridge and Taylor back together only served to derail their wedding when exposed and then Brooke decided she didn’t want him back, either. In his absence, the two women have forged a strong friendship and are enjoying the single life. But what about Ridge?

“With everything that has gone on, and seeing the women in his life moving on, I look forward to seeing him move on, as well,” Kaye told Soap Opera Digest. “Yes, somebody else. For Ridge, it would be awesome to start with somebody else. Who knows?”

So might there be a new addition to the cast of B&B that will catch Ridge’s eye, or could an established character return to rekindle an old spark? “Maybe he’s going to find his cell phone and see if Shauna’s number is still in it,” teased Kaye. “I like Denise [Richards, Shauna]. She’s a good lady. She was great with everybody and she fit in so well. I think that might be nice.”

Well, headwriter and executive producer Bradley Bell has stated that Shauna, like her daughter Flo, is still out there just waiting to be brought back onto the canvas, so stay tuned to B&B to see what happens next!
