Y&R Alum Abhi Sinha Cast on ANIMAL KINGDOM
Fans of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS alum Abhi Sinha (ex-Ravi) can look forward to seeing the actor on screen again in the upcoming fifth season of the TNT drama series ANIMAL KINGDOM! He shared a “photo dump” of images from his time on the set as well as one quick video clip of him walking around outside of some trailers. Sinha also urged everyone to “Go watch ANIMAL KINGDOM on TNT!”
ANIMAL KINGDOM’s ensemble cast includes AS THE WORLD TURNS alum Jake Weary (ex-Luke) as Deran Cody and was recently renewed for its sixth and final season by TNT. The fifth season premieres on Sunday, July 11. Unfortunately, there is no information yet as to what Sinha’s role on the series will be or which episodes he will be appearing in. Though one of the images he shared in his Instagram gallery was with Shawn Hatosy, who plays Andrew “Pope” Cody on the show, so it’s likely they’ll have scenes together.
Sinha appeared in the recurring role of Jabot computer tech Ravi Shapur on Y&R from 2016-18. Fans enjoyed his chemistry with Eileen Davidson’s Ashley Abbott, but sadly nothing came of the relationship, and Sinha was written off of the soap. Thankfully for his fans, the actor has continued to appear in primetime series like DESIGNATED SURVIVOR, S.W.A.T., and most recently, THIS IS US.
