Please join us in welcoming Kelsey Wang to the cast of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! The actress will be playing Allie, a mysterious young professional who catches the eye of one of Genoa City’s eligible bachelors. Look for her to make her debut in the episode scheduled to air on Thursday, March 10.
Soap fans who have also watched GENERAL HOSPITAL might recognize Wang from her recurring role of Dawn of Day cult member Daisy on the ABC sudser. The actress has also appeared in Netflix’s DAREDEVIL, the dual language pilot JOURNEY TO THE EAST, and the play Chimerica, which made its U.S. premiere at the Studio Theater in Washington, D.C.
No further details regarding this new character of Allie have been released by Y&R, but given that recent episodes have seen Jack receiving mysterious texts that have a connection to his late wife, Luan, could this storyline be setting up Allie’s introduction? The name associated with the texts was Hao Nguyen, the name of Luan’s father, and Phyllis and Jack immediately wondered if his son, Keemo, had anything to do with them. But perhaps Keemo has a daughter reaching out to her grandfather?
