Amelia Heinle Reveals Victoria’s Feelings for Nate on Y&R

Mixing business with pleasure can often lead to some serious complications, so might Victoria regret kissing Nate on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS? She’s been very impressed with his skill in the boardroom but how long before she sees how he is in the bedroom?

“Victoria is very intrigued by Nate,” portrayer Amelia Heinle revealed in a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest. “I think she’s been a little lonely and she knows that he can be trusted. After everything she’s been through with Ashland and how difficult all of that was, it’s just nice for her to know someone who is a solid person. And she thinks Nate’s office is a safe place for them to be friends and not just boss and employee.”

After Ashland Locke betrayed her so completely, can Victoria really trust Nate? He did betray his actual family when he felt ignored at Chancellor-Winters. “He did something that she probably would have done herself, so she can’t judge him for that,” Heinle argued. “In fact, she actually admires him for it.”

Of course, while sharing some bourbon while discussing their plan to take down Tucker with Audra as their secret weapon, the mood shifted and Victoria planted a kiss on him! “It’s more Victoria being the instigator but Nate doesn’t stop the kiss,” she noted. “Of course, they still have to maintain a professional relationship, but there’s a new element that has been added. And make no mistake about it, she’s definitely smitten with him.”

Still, Elena might have something to say about the situation! Might Nate dump his girlfriend to pursue a relationship with Victoria? And being his boss, is she setting herself up for trouble down the road?
