Fonseca stars as Angie, a successful Manhattan surgeon who wonders what her life might be like if she had married her former boyfriend, Tyler, who is now a popular sportscaster. But the train ride home for the holidays magically transports her back in time 10 years and with the help of the enigmatic conductor (played by Christopher Lloyd), navigates this Christmas past as she gains a new perspective on her life and what is truly important to her. The cast also includes Massey as Ben, Lea Thompson as Angie’s mom, Evelyn, and Slezak plays Aunt Myrt.

Lloyd and Thompson are no strangers to time travel, having starred in the classic Back to the Future series of films. “Doing a time travel movie with these two?” marveled Fonseca in a behind-the-scenes video. “Lea is so warm and lovely. And Christopher has this wonderful, magical quality about him. She spends the movie trying to understand what it is that has to be fixed.”

Naturally, romance will play a major part in her adventure as Angie works with her sister to rekindle the spark between their parents while also discovering where her own heart truly belongs thanks to a little holiday magic. “Everybody wants to get on the magic Christmas train!” declared Massey with a laugh.
