Actress Eileen Davidson has already opened up about how she approached playing the storyline of Ashley’s alternate personalities on The Young & The Restless and now she’s applauding the two women without whom the storyline wouldn’t have been possible!

“It’s been quite a challenge and a lot of fun to play Ashley’s DID storyline,” Davidson shared on Instagram. “Thank you to these two amazing, talented, professional, and hilarious women! Lisa Williams and Wendy Wilkins, I couldn’t have done it without you!”

Davidson’s photo showed her with the two actresses who doubled for her for the scenes inside Ashley’s mind where she shared the screen with her various alters. Williams has appeared in television shows like Sisters and Beverly Hills, 90210, and has worked closely with Davidson for many years, doubling her for her multiple roles as Kristen, Susan, Thomas, and Sister Mary Moira on Days of Our Lives. Wilkins has appeared in episodes of soaps like Neighbours and General Hospital as well as numerous films.

In addition to her Daytime Emmy Award-winning talent and her scene partners, Davidson also had the help of the Y&R crew in crafting alters that were all distinctly different from each other. “Also these terrific wardrobe, hair, and makeup people,” she exclaimed. “Tony Lorito [wardrobe], Scott Burkhart [wardrobe], David Zyla [costume designer], Justin Jackson [hair stylist], James Elle [makeup], and Lauren Mendoza [hair stylist], you are all the best!! Thank you so much.”

Ashley has gone to Paris with Alan and Traci to try and get to the bottom of the trauma that caused her personality to fracture and her alters to take over in an attempt to protect her. But the storyline isn’t quite over yet as a new twist could lead to a shocking revelation that no one saw coming! Stay tuned!
