Hunter King Suits Up for a New Christmas Movie!
Since exiting THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS in 2021, Hunter King (ex-Summer) has appeared in several movies for Hallmark Media. Her latest film, The Santa Summit, premieres on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. ET as part of Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” programming event!
The comedy follows three best friends — King’s Jordin, Amy Groenig’s Ava, and Stephanie Sy’s Stella — who attend Santa Summit, an annual holiday event where revelers dress up in Santa suits and hop around town participating in Christmas-themed activities. With Jordin getting over a breakup, Christmas cynic Stella in a work rut, and Ava hoping to run into her crush, the pals hope that the Santa Summit will be a night to eat, drink, and be merry. At the first stop, Jordin hits it off with Liam (played by Benjamin Hollingsworth), but they get separated by a Santa stampede before exchanging names or numbers.
Although Jordin and Liam are determined to find one other again, it’s one near miss after another for the two at each subsequent location. As the night progresses and hijinks ensue, Jordin, Ava, and Stella all find what they’re looking for: Christmas spirit, potential romance, and a strengthened bond of friendship.
“I cannot wait for you all to watch my new movie, The Santa Summit, because it is a movie about love, friendship, and more Santas than you have ever seen all at once!” King teased in a video shared on the Hallmark Channel’s Instagram page.
The Santa Summit marks King’s fifth overall film and second holiday-themed movie for Hallmark Media. (She also starred in 2022’s A Royal Corgi Christmas.) The Y&R alum inked a multi-picture deal with Hallmark’s production company late last year, so hopefully we will see more of King on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in the future!
