The Young & The Restless

Jamison Jones Cast on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS

Ashland’s secrets may start coming out of the woodwork when Jamison Jones joins the cast of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Jesse Gaines! As reported by Soap Opera Digest, the attorney will make his first appearance on Tuesday, Sept. 21, and he might just have the information about Ashland that his rivals have been searching for.

Y&R is not Jones’ daytime debut — the actor has made appearances on NBC sudser DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Kip and later Bill, and has played three different roles on ABC’s GENERAL HOSPITAL over the years including William, Brady, and Dr. Warren Kirk. Viewers might also recognize him from his roles on series like 24, KAMEN RIDER: DRAGON KNIGHT, and THE WHISPERS or one of his numerous guest appearances on shows like JAG, WILL & GRACE, BEVERLY HILLS, 90210, ALIAS, BURN NOTICE, and TRUE DETECTIVE. Then again, you may have seen Jamison sharing the silver screen with Harrison Ford in the 2003 movie Hollywood Homicide or in the 2019 horror flick The Wretched.

Ashland’s reputation preceded him before his arrival in Genoa City, but he’s been showing a softer side as he woos Victoria and prepares to make her his bride. But some of the Newman family aren’t as enthusiastic about the nuptials and think Ashland is hiding some dark secret in his past. Perhaps Jesse could hold the key to getting Victoria out of Ashland’s clutches before it’s too late?

Stay tuned to Y&R to see what Jones’ character brings to the storyline and if it winds up turning Ashland’s plans upside down!
