Joshua Morrow Reveals How Nick Feels About Sally on Y&R

Tags:

Nick is embarking on a new life working at Newman again on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. And while the guy is still feeling guilty over accidentally killing Ashland and his father covering it all up, portrayer Joshua Morrow is excited to be back in the corporate arena and eager to see what’s next for his character.

Might that future include turning his budding friendship with Sally into something more? Because as they’ve grown closer, he doesn’t seem to be holding a grudge about the redhead driving Summer out of town. “Nick is intrigued by Sally and it’s in his nature to give people second chances,” Morrow admitted to Soap Opera Digest. “He’s willing to allow people to kind of find their own path because that’s all he ever wanted from his dad.

“He sees that Sally has a drive and ambition that really suits what is the mission statement for Newman Media,” he continued. “He’s really gone to bat for her by fighting Victoria and his father over and over because he wants to see what Sally can do. Nick sees that Sally’s a fighter who’s not afraid to speak her mind, and he respects that.”

But would Nick really pursue a woman who his brother, Adam, recently dumped? It wouldn’t be the first time the guys have dated the same woman, though this one might be particularly messy, given Adam and Sally’s recent split. (And the fact that it’s not entirely clear if Adam or Sally are completely over the other!)

“Josh [Griffith, Y&R executive producer/headwriter] and the writers seem to have some interesting stuff pending with a new lady and the corporate dynamics,” Morrow teased. “It’s been invigorating, to say the least, to be back in the thick of things.”

Could that “new lady” be Sally Spectra? You’ll just have to keep watching Y&R to see what the future holds for Nick! (But first, share your opinion on the possible pairing in our online poll below!)
