Natalie Morales Cast on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS

A familiar face is going to be popping up in Genoa City… at least familiar to any viewers who also tune in to CBS’s daytime talk show THE TALK! Co-host Natalie Morales is going to be appearing on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Talia Morgan, an investigative reporter hired by Nikki and Phyllis to dig up dirt on Diane. “I’m having so much fun,” she said while announcing the news on THE TALK.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Morales will first air on Wednesday, Aug. 17, and is scheduled to appear in multiple episodes as part of this storyline. Given that Michael failed to uncover anything salacious about Diane’s time in Los Angeles, might Talia be able to give Nikki and Phyllis the evidence they need to take their rival down once and for all?

Morales began her journalism career working at News 12 – The Bronx as a morning anchor. She has also worked as an anchor and correspondent for MSNBC and then joined TODAY as a national correspondent before becoming co-anchor of the third hour of the show and later news anchor. In 2021, Morales left NBC News after more than two decades and joined THE TALK as a permanent co-host and moderator.

During her career, Morales has also played herself in movies like Pitch Perfect 2 and Zoolander 2 as well as television series like NASHVILLE and THIS IS US. But when she appears on Y&R, she’ll be playing an actual character (if still a journalist!). So stay tuned to see Morales make her daytime debut… and if Talia can help take Diane down a peg or three!
