Richard Burgi Cast on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS

Please join us in welcoming Richard Burgi to the cast of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! The veteran actor will be playing the recurring role of Ashland Locke beginning with the episode airing on Thursday, March 11. 

After the Locke family was mentioned and Tara Locke herself showed up in Genoa City, it was only a matter of time before her ruthless husband followed along as well. And now we know who will be playing him! Ashland is a high-powered businessman who will clash with the Abbott and Newman families and he’ll probably have something to say about his son, Harrison, actually being Kyle’s! (Because you know secrets always come out on soaps!)

Although perhaps most recognizable for his role as Karl on primetime sudser DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, Burgi’s career began in daytime with the role of Chad on ANOTHER WORLD back in 1986. He also played Randy on ONE LIFE TO LIVE, Glenn on AS THE WORLD TURNS, and Philip on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. His most recent soap appearance was as Paul Hornsby on GENERAL HOSPITAL from 2014-16.
