Sharon Case on Why Fans Still Love Sharon and Nick on Y&R (EXCLUSIVE)

Whether Sharon and Nick are together romantically or not, fans still love them and always seem to root for the duo to rekindle their love affair. Sharon’s portrayer, Sharon Case, credits the couple’s longevity to the brilliance of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ co-creator, the late William J. Bell. “He wrote the Newman family by first introducing Victor and Nikki, and then he wrote who their legacy children would be,” the actress reflected to Soaps In Depth. “When Sharon was brought in, it was Bill’s intention to write them as a younger Victor and Nikki.
