Sharon Case Opens up About Sharon Becoming a Therapist on Y&R (EXCLUSIVE)

At the moment, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS‘ Sharon has her hands full battling breast cancer. Yet once that storyline is finished, might fans see the character focus on her new career as a therapist? Maybe even opening up her own office? “There are a lot of people in Genoa City who need therapy!” portrayer Sharon Case laughed to Soaps In Depth. “Sharon’s services would probably be needed!”

That said, Case admits that she’s a bit hesitant about her alter ego hanging out a shingle and becoming the town shrink. “It would depend on how it’s written, but my fear would be that therapy sessions are not all that exciting to watch and not that cinematic!” she mused. “We are trying to entertain people! But I’m not a writer, so I don’t know how such a thing could be written. I’m sure our writers would be able to do it. I’m open to playing anything!”
