THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Fall Preview
As the temperatures fall, the drama heats up on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS! Co-executive producer and headwriter Josh Griffith teased just some of the action coming up this November on the soap as relationships will be tested, secrets will be revealed, and lives will change forever.
Nick sparked a connection with Sally, but Adam still has feelings for the redhead, and that’s going to pit the two brothers against each other again but the consequences of their rivalry will be much more widespread. “Nick and Adam’s feud over Sally will force Victor’s hand to step in when their rivalry threatens to jeopardize the family business,” the writer previewed to Soap Opera Digest. “Victor will not allow anyone or anything to tarnish his legacy.”
Victor is also deeply involved in helping determine why Tucker has returned to Genoa City and what he’s really up to. And he’s not the only one! “Ashley and Tucker’s game of cat and mouse will keep both of them on their toes as they second-guess their feelings for each other,” Griffith revealed.
After confessing her connection to Tucker and Jeremy Stark during her time in Los Angeles, Diane swears that there are no more secrets. But is that really true? “Diane will continue to work overtime to regain both Kyle and Jack’s trust,” he said. “As Jack struggles with his feelings for Diane, he takes a big risk to protect Kyle from once again being hurt by his mother. Meanwhile, Diane and Phyllis’ conflicts may drive a wedge between Kyle and Summer’s marriage as they take sides.”
Nate was thrilled when Elena came back home, but winning her back is not going to be so easy. In fact, he may find being the new CEO of Newman Media much easier to handle! “He will have his work cut out for him as he tackles his toughest assignment — repairing his relationship with Elena,” Griffith explained. “Thanks to Nate’s deception, Devon and Lily will stand firm in their decision to cut ties with him.”
And the holidays will bring some special visitors to Genoa City. “Phyllis is thrilled when Daniel returns home in time for the holidays,” the scribe declared. “She will soon learn how much Daniel’s life has changed during his time away from Genoa City.” And don’t forget the upcoming return of his father, Danny Romalotti!
