If you thought the summer in Genoa City was wild, you haven’t seen anything yet! Things are only going to get more dramatic with all the twists and turns coming up this fall on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!
The Newman family is going to be shaken to the core when Victor takes back control of the Newman empire to run things his way again. “The fall season is a time for transformation for the Newmans,” Y&R headwriter and executive producer Josh Griffith previewed in a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest. Over at Newman Media, “Nikki will soon take a bright and ambitious team member under her wing.” (That will likely be the newly-created character of Grace, played by a returning Hayley Erin.)
However, not everyone at Newman will be happy with the changes that Victor makes. “Victoria and Adam will also feel the wrath of Victor’s return to Newman when both see their roles drastically change within the company,” the scribe promised. “Victoria will retaliate like never before, taking Nate along for the ride.” Adam will turn his attention to Sally, who will find herself feeling on the outs with Nick as he works closer with Sharon.
Over at Jabot, things are just as unsettled. “Ashley makes an announcement which sends shockwaves through the Abbott family,” Griffith teased. “This fall, Jack and Diane host a lavish wedding reception which will be the backdrop for shocking drama and romantic encounters.” And don’t forget to keep an eye on Billy!
After her recent actions, Phyllis has been desperately trying to make things right with those she hurt. But despite her best intentions, a new alliance backfires on her in a big way. Thankfully, she’ll finally get some support. “Luckily, someone from her past resurfaces when she needs a friend the most,” the writer declared. (We’re betting that’s Danny Romalotti, back for an “extended stay” this time!)
Plus, Heather continues to cause friction between Daniel and Lily, Summer is drawn to Chance, Mariah and Tessa try to help their daughter, and so much more. Don’t miss a single moment!
