THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Preview: Claire Kidnaps Nikki!

Claire Grace finally shows her true colors this week on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Nikki finds herself fighting for her life!

Claire has been a model employee ever since landing her job at Newman Media and has stuck very close to Nikki trying to make herself indispensable. So when she has to deal with a family crisis, Nikki is happy to reassure her it won’t impact her job. “You just focus on taking care of your aunt,” she tells Claire. “I know how important she is to you.” But Claire turns serious and admits: “There’s… something else I should probably tell you about her.”

Then it’s Nikki who finds herself in the middle of a family dilemma. “Maybe I shouldn’t leave town at all this weekend with all this family upheaval,” she tells Victor as they sit together in her office. “I mean, she’s gonna be disappointed, but…” But Victor cuts her off. “Sweetheart,” he says firmly, “I do want you to take that trip. I mean, you’ve been looking forward to seeing your sister, Casey, for a long time. You haven’t seen each other for a while.”

Unfortunately, Nikki’s trip takes a dangerous turn when she finds herself trying to call for help only to learn that the phone is dead. Then, right at that moment, Claire advances upon her with a syringe and grabs her to inject her right in the neck! As a drugged Nikki lays in a bed, Claire smiles down at her. “Sweet dreams, Nikki,” she gloats. “Enjoy them while you can.” When Nikki regains consciousness, she’s horrified to find herself hooked up to an IV. “What is happening?” she gasps, pulling out the needle. Locked in the room, Nikki bangs on the window for help, to no avail.

Why is Claire holding Nikki prisoner, and what is her ultimate goal? Do not miss a minute of the thrilling drama coming up on Y&R!
