THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Spoilers: Gloria Quits!

Alarms are going off in these THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS spoilers but will anyone heed the warnings? Nick tries to lift Phyllis’ spirits, Nikki cautions Sally to watch her step, Rey questions Adam about Mariah’s disappearance, and Gloria tells Lauren she’s out!

Phyllis has been down in the dumps ever since Summer decided not to return to Genoa City, but Nick is going to do everything he can to cheer up the woman he loves. “For the next few hours it’s going to be a tribute to all the things about you that make me crazy,” he informs Phyllis. “I’m calling it: ‘Phyllis Appreciation Day.’” But will it do the trick?

Nikki is also upset at those who drove Summer out of town and when she runs into the only one walking around free, she’s quick to give Sally a piece of her mind. “Well, I am very protective about the people I love,” Nikki warns. “And make no mistake. My husband isn’t the only one who knows how to take matters into his own hands.” Sally stands her ground, but should she be worried?

Rey stops into Adam’s office to ask some questions and seeing that it’s an official visit, Adam assumes it’s about Chelsea. “No,” Rey reveals. “Mariah Copeland. I was wondering the last time you had contact with her.” Might Adam have some useful information or is Rey barking up the wrong tree entirely?

Lauren joins Gloria at Society for a drink and asks, “What am I toasting to?” Naturally, Gloria smiles and responds: “Me, of course.” But that’s just the beginning of her big news. “Lauren,” she announces, “this is my last day as your assistant.” Has she gotten a better offer somewhere else? Or is she angling for a promotion? Just what is Gloria up to this time?
