Chance took a bullet that was meant for Adam, and when evidence began pointing to Billy, he became the prime suspect. Rey finally placed him under arrest, and Lily rushed to get Amanda to defend him. “You’ve been charged with shooting a cop,” the attorney reminds Billy. But he continues to proclaim his innocence. “I didn’t do it,” Billy declares.
Despite his rocky relationship with Adam, Victor seems intent on finding out who attempted to shoot his son. And he wouldn’t mind if Billy was the one who went down for it. “One way or the other,” he promises, “Billy Boy Abbott is gonna get it.” Sitting across the table from Victor, Lily taunts the mogul. “So you did frame him,” she suggests.
The deck may be stacked against Billy right now, but Lily is definitely one of the people on his side. “I believe with my whole heart that you are innocent,” she swears to him. “We have to figure out a plan.” Can they figure out who really shot Chance, and therefore who framed Billy for the crime? And can they do it before it’s too late?
