The future is uncertain in these THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS spoilers! Chloe reports to work with Adam, Nikki checks in on Summer, Sally questions Jack about their future, and Mariah finds herself trapped with no way out! Who is behind her disappearance?

“Chloe Mitchell reporting for duty,” she announces as she enters Adam’s office. Sitting behind the desk, he smiles and says, “Welcome… to your first day at Newman Media.” Chloe shifts on her feet nervously, glancing around the room. Might her first day at work be her last?

Nikki and Victor have traveled to Italy to check on Summer as part of their trip, and she’s worried about her granddaughter. “Are you truly happy here in Milan?” Nikki asks the young woman. “Or simply resigned?” Will Summer keep up her lie about why she really left Genoa City or confide in her grandmother?

At Society, Sally is enjoying a drink with Jack but has to ask a very serious question. “Given the lovely evening that we had,” she says, “and feeling so connected, where do we go from here?” Jack smiles back at the redhead with a twinkle in his eyes. Could he be ready to give this another shot?

When Mariah disappeared, her text messages claimed she just needed some time alone to get her head together but as her loved ones grew suspicious and began to worry, it turns out they were right to do so! At an undisclosed location, Mariah pounds on a door and shouts to her captor. “Look, as much fun as… this stay has been,” she calls out, “me and this baby would like to get out of here now!” Who is holding Mariah and Abby’s baby prisoner, and why?
