Ashland’s house of cards is collapsing around him in these THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS spoilers. Is there anything he can do to keep it together? Because as his lies are exposed, Ashland’s true colors are also being revealed… and they’re not pretty! How far will he go to try and salvage what’s left?
Nate initially took Ashland’s side, insisting that as a doctor, he would know whether or not the man had cancer. But now he’s realized the truth and why Ashland befriended him so quickly. “It’s all been one, big, colossal lie,” Nate accuses him. “You don’t have cancer.”
As his lies are being discovered, Ashland has been trying to keep them from being publicly exposed and honestly fears for his relationship with Victoria. “I need to know that you believe me,” he begged his wife. And while Victoria insisted that she was on his side, she now admits to Nick that she’s having second thoughts about all of this. “I don’t know what to believe anymore,” she confesses.
Meanwhile, Nate tries to make Ashland face reality. “The Newmans deserve to know the truth,” he insists. But Ashland isn’t giving up without a fight! “You think long and hard before you do anything rash,” he warns. Taken aback, Nate feels like he’s finally seeing the real Ashland Locke. “Are you threatening me?” the doctor asks.
