Watch THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ 50th Anniversary Promo!

This Friday, Sept. 30, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS kicks off its 50th season! Yes, it’s a little strange to think of soap operas having seasons since they are on every day of the week, but the popular and long-running soap is about to begin its 50th year on the air. 

And to celebrate, Y&R released a very special promo for their 50th year of drama, romance, and adventure! In it, you’ll see some classic moments like Jill and Katherine’s cake fight at Billy and Chloe’s wedding, Nick and Sharon’s Arabian Nights fantasy, and one of Nikki and Victor’s many weddings. 

There are also clips of the show’s current couples in romantic clinches, like Billy and Lily, Abby and Chase, and Devon and Amanda. Of course, given that this is a soap, don’t expect all of those couples to continue to enjoy happiness. There’s always drama around the corner!

Although Y&R’s actual 50th anniversary isn’t until March 26, 2023, the soap is planning on celebrating all year long, promising to revisit classic storylines and bring back some fan-favorite characters. They’ve already announced Michael Graziadei is returning as Daniel Romalotti, so who knows what might be announced in the future!
