Y&R Alum Noemi Gonzalez Celebrates Bi Visibility Day

September 23 was Bi Visibility Day, when people challenge the erasure of bisexuality, and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS alum Noemi Gonzales (ex-Mia), took to her Instagram to celebrate the day… and herself. “Heard it was Bi Visibility Day and I want to be visible,” she wrote in a heartfelt caption to a beautiful black and white selfie. “I am whole. I am not black or white, I am the silky grey across the spectrum. I strum my sensuality confidently to connect to my divinity. I can’t thrive without honoring all of me.

“Sometimes a reminder is needed because perception isn’t real,” the actress continued. “So thank you for seeing me. In my full spectrum and feeling me anyway because I know I feel you. We are beautiful when we are our authentic selves and that’s a gift of life to celebrate fully. I hope you feel seen no matter what side of the spectrum you’re on. Happy Bi Visibility Day, loves!”

Gonzalez joined the cast of Y&R in November 2018 as Rey’s estranged wife, Mia, and stirred up plenty of drama in Genoa City before her exit in May 2019. After leaving the soap, the talented actress starred as Molly Solis in the Amazon Prime series DARK/WEB and then was cast as drummer Suzette Quintanilla in Netflix’s SELENA: THE SERIES.

We’re so happy to see Gonzalez finding success after exiting Y&R and even happier to know that she’s so happy living her true, authentic self. If only more people could, perhaps the world would be a better place!
