You’re invited to join host Alan Locher and some special guests for a GUIDING LIGHT Watch Party on Wednesday, Jan. 25, to celebrate the soap’s anniversary!

GL made its debut as a radio show back on Jan. 25, 1937, so this month would mark the legendary soap’s 86th anniversary on radio and television. So to honor that momentous occasion, three of GL’s writers — Jill Lorie Hurst, Danielle Paige, and Brett Staneart — will join Locher for a look back at one of the most unforgettable storylines to hit Springfield during its lengthy history.

Back in January 1993, GL fans mourned the death of Maureen Bauer from a tragic accident following her discovery that her husband Ed was having an affair with her best friend, Lilian. So join this group for a special Watch Party as everyone comes together to watch scenes from that powerful storyline and its aftermath as we mourn the loss of Maureen Bauer as well as our Springfield family.
