We’ve gotten so used to watching our favorite soaps stars that it’s hard to imagine other people playing their roles. For instance, what if Kevin Costner was Jake Kositchek in DAYS OF OUR LIVES? It might be hard to imagine but major movie stars came pretty close to landing roles in daytime TV.

Mila Kunis auditioned for a role in SUNSET BEACH.

She auditioned for this series and for That '70s Show at the same time and landed both roles, but her manager made her go with That 70s Show.

"I went on the audition and I wanted this other show called Sunset Beach. I wanted that one because it had cute guys in it, and instead my manager was like 'no', you're gonna get '70s," she said.
