Gh Olivia Sonny Cooking
ABC/William Foster “I remember that day well,” LoCicero said. “That was a classic time, when no one knew who Dante was and Olivia still had all these feelings for Sonny. Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) and I talk a lot about how much fun we had figuring out who our characters were.” -

Gh Patrick Olivia Car
ABC/Ron Tom “Production actually called down to tell me to play these scenes like I wanted to sleep with Patrick,” LoCicero laughed. “I remember looking right into the monitor and saying, ‘Are you kidding? This guy’s young enough to be my son. Plus, he’s Robin’s husband!’ It felt so wrong.” -
Gh Johnny Olivia
ABC/Carol Kaelson “Those were good days, too, and that [storyline] came out of nowhere,” said the actress. “There was a show that was short, and they needed some kind of cliffhanger, so Elizabeth [Korte] wrote this random Olivia/Johnny hookup. People really responded.” -
Gh Max Olivia Nurses Ball
ABC/Ron Tom “That was what it was,” LoCicero said of Olivia’s Nurses Ball performance with Max. “I’m sure a lot of GH fans got the reference to Johnny Carson’s Carnac The Magnificent... and a lot of them did not. Playing off the ‘Olivia’s a psychic’ thing, it was very clever to pull that out of history. I don’t know how funny it was, but we did our best to make those jokes land and make it amusing. We had fun that day, that’s for sure.” -
Gh Olivia Sonny Shot Dante
ABC/Michael Yarish “This ‘Oh my god, you shot my son’ moment was the raison d’etre of bringing Olivia to the canvas,” LoCicero said. “The initial idea was to have Dante struggle and maybe even go to the proverbial dark side with his father. That went by the wayside. Maybe they realized it did too much of a disservice to that character to let him go that far.” -
Gh Steven Olivia Kiss
Howard Wise/jpistudios.com “Scott Reeves (ex-Steven) and I laughed so hard because we were together for so long before we finally got it on,” LoCicero recalled. “I think this was the first time, and in soap operas, it’s usually right away, but we’d been together for like a year and a half! What were we, Amish?” -
Gh Sam Olivia
Sean Smith/jpistudios.com “That’s probably just before I passed out in real life,” LoCicero said. “Giving birth on the floor of the Metro Court was definitely the hardest day I’ve had on the show. I was so pregnant, so uncomfortable and fake hyperventilating. I said, ‘You guys... I’m not acting,’ and then I passed out. Jason [Thompson, ex-Patrick; Billy, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS] carried me to the infirmary, just like a romantic soap-opera leading man would do.” -
Gh Fireman Olivia
ChrisD/jpistudios.com “The fireman,” LoCicero grinned, recalling the first responder that a drunk Olivia mistook for a stripper. “I was very surprised when that aired that they used music that made it very dramatic. I thought it was supposed to be funny! That guy was funny, and he was game. We had a good time. It’s the most fun to shoot stuff that’s plot-related yet more character-driven than plot-driven.” -
Gh Olivia Ned Wedding Gal
Jim Warren “That was a really fun day, and at that point, I was crying,” LoCicero recalled of Olivia and Ned’s wedding. “They were like, ‘Dial back the tears. This is supposed to be a happy moment.’ But they were happy tears! Weddings make me cry — particularly my own. And being a lifelong GH fan, it felt momentous for me as both the character and a human being. So we had to shoot it again... and I had to hold back the emotion.” -
Gh Olivia Connie
Howard Wise/jpistudios.com “I’m obviously very angry with Connie,” LoCicero deadpanned. “I’m glaring at her... and this just makes me miss Kelly Sullivan because I love her so much! The fireworks they wrote between us had a lot of love underneath them. I miss that [dynamic] a lot.” -
Gh Ned Olivia Qs
XJJohnson/jpistudios.com “That was a sweet day,” LoCicero sighed. “Wally Kurth (Ned) and I are trying to carry on some of those Q traditions. I loved John Ingle (Edward) so much. I never worked with Anna Lee (Lila), but I passed her star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame the other day.” -
Gh Scotty Olivia
Howard Wise/jpistudios.com “That guy cracks me up,” LoCicero said of Kin Shriner (Scotty). “He’s an icon. He’s the guy who caught the bouquet [at Luke and Laura’s wedding]! I tease him about that every time I see him. And he’s not entirely unlike Scotty Baldwin. He’s brusque but so funny and a little silly. He’s great to work with.” -
Gh Julian Olivia
Howard Wise/jpistudios.com “I was about five months pregnant, but those were fun scenes,” LoCicero said. She and William deVry (Julian) “had a good time playing adversarial friends. Now, it’s more on the adversarial side, because there’s a kid to protect.”
