Go Backstage at the 2018 GENERAL HOSPITAL Nurses Ball

The 2018 GENERAL HOSPITAL Nurses Ball has come and gone, and now all we are left with are our memories of the gala event. Well, not exactly! We thought it might be fun to compile some videos of standout performances as well as a look behind the scenes at how the magic happened!

When Chase agreed to perform at the Nurses Ball, he was told that a bunch of officers from the PCPD always take the stage every year. And while he was upset and disappointed when Dante confessed the truth, he still went out there alone in his Dick Tracy costume and tore up the stage to do “Feel It Still” by Portugal. The Man!

Robert may have spoiled Valentin’s romantic performance of The Magnetic Fields’ “The Book of Love” for Nina by jumping on stage at the end and slugging him, but that shocking moment isn’t included in this video. And portrayer James Patrick Stuart was thrilled to have cellist Christine Wu accompany him on stage.

And how can anybody forget Ava Jerome’s incredible rendition of “You Don’t Own Me” that brought the house down? Sure, there were some in the audience who refused to applaud for their enemy, but she still got a standing ovation from everyone else!

The final episode of the GH Nurses Ball ended with a dedication to Rick Pessagno, who was responsible for choreographing the numbers for the past six years. Sadly, he passed away earlier this year and could not work on this production.

Keep scrolling down for a look behind the scenes at how they make the Nurses Ball magic happen courtesy of your favorite stars!
