In the thriller, Christopher plays Mitch, who discovers that his new bride is not what she appears to be when she begins to bond with his 16-year-old daughter and turn her against her mother. “He’s a wealthy businessman who seems to have found the perfect trophy wife that will jettison him out of the doldrums of middle age,” the actor tells Soaps In Depth. “To his dismay, his vivacious blonde is hiding a deep, dark secret. After an initial whirlwind romance, the new wife starts to become increasingly jealous of Mitch’s ex, which ultimately leads to some pretty sinister behavior.”

The new wife, Tiffany, is played by Kimberly Crossman, and Mitch’s ex is a familiar face to GH fans: Annie Wersching (ex-Amelia). “Kimberly is definitely an up-and-comer that you will be seeing more of,” Christopher reports. “Annie’s great as always. That was such a tough role to pull off. I thought she did a wonderful job.”

Despite his character throwing over his wife for a new model 20 years younger, Christopher insists he tried to keep Mitch sympathetic. “I tried to make him as likable as possible,” he confides. “Hopefully I did my job.”

And he promises that his GH fans will love The Other Mother. “If you are a soap fan, you will love this one,” Christopher declares. “It’s full of all kinds of scandalous behavior. No steamy love scenes, though!”
