Bree Williamson Opens Up About Her Sudden Exit From GENERAL HOSPITAL!

When Claudette ran into the evil Valentin on an airplane, it was the last GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers saw of her — and it turns out that was actually the end of Bree Williamson’s run as the vixen!

“It was super fun,” she tells Soaps In Depth of her time in Port Charles. “I had such a good time.”

While Williamson knew that the airport scene would be her last one, it didn’t make it any easier for her to say goodbye to this character to which she’d become so attached. The actress is also quick to defend Claudette’s actions, even abandoning her daughter, Charlotte!

“Maybe she really is trying to protect this little girl,” Williamson muses. “Maybe she was actually doing something unselfish. Claudette always has really good intentions. She just doesn’t go about it the right way.

“She tries to do the right thing,” the actress adds, “but she just fails miserably. Which I think makes her super-tragic and really fun to play. She really doesn’t have a clue!”

However, with Valentin running around Port Charles, and little Charlotte still somewhat of a mystery, would Williamson be up for reprising the role again? “Yeah, why not?” she declares. “It was really fun!”
