“I wish it had been kept quiet until the scene where Morgan was blown away,” says the Emmy winner, who reflects on all he’s leaving behind and what’s ahead in the new ABC issue of Soaps In Depth, on newsstands now.

“It would have been so great if it had been a surprise… but things get out,” he laments. “I’d actually signed a non-disclosure agreement, so when it broke, I went right to GH and said, ‘It’s out there, and it was not me!’
“Then there was a big commotion, and the amount of tweets, messages and Instagram comments was overwhelming,” Craig continues. “I think a lot of people are really disappointed. Also, the first people to publish the news didn’t make the network or me look good. To be clear: Nobody quit!”
