GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Carolyn Hennesy Reveals the Relationship She Wishes Diane and Alexis Would Share!

Q: What is it like working with legends like Maurice Benard (Sonny), yourself and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis)? If Diane was not a lawyer, what would she be?

A: It’s sublime to work with all the legends of GH. If not a lawyer, she’d be a cat burglar.

Q: Do you have any say on the fabulous clothes Diane wears?

A: As a matter of fact, I do have a (small) say. [GH Wardrobe Chief] Shawn Reeves is my guru .He’s the best at what he does!

Q: If Diane had a chance to hook up with any of the GH hunks, who would it be? (Excluding Max.)

A: Nathan!

Q: What’s one thing on your bucket list you are most looking forward to?

A: Riding in the Rose Parade. And I’ll be doing just that on Jan. 1, 2017!

Q: Do you and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) have a good relationship outside of GH? It seems like you two could be best buddies.

A: She’s a peach!

Q: What do you do for fun when you’re not at the GH studio?

A: Fly trapeze. And I’m knitting some blankets for Helen’s Room at Good Sam.

Q: If you could be another character, who would you be?

A: Luke! (Or anything that involves Ryan Paevey (Nathan)!)

Q: When are you going to confront Alexis about her drinking? It has to be you!

A: I agree… and I hope it’s soon!

Q: I’d love to see the show dive more into Diane’s past. Can you imagine if she was a Cassadine or a Quartermaine?

A: Maybe she and Alexis are long-lost sisters!

Q: What’s it like being a lawyer on GH?

A: The dialogue is sometimes tough… but the clothes are divine!

Q: If you could do anything other than acting and trapeze, what would it be?

A: Cooking! I’d love to be a really great gourmet chef!

Q: I hope we see Jason, Sam and Diane soon because you three are hilarious together. You work so well with Billy [Miller, Jason] and Kelly [Monaco, Sam].

A: That’s a fun combo, right?

Q: Would they pair you with Valentin? Juicy with the Alexis connection!

A: Oooh, nice thinking!

Q: What’s your favorite thing about your character, Diane?

A: Her wit and her loyalty.

Q: What is your go-to pig-out relax at home food?

A: Macadamia nuts. Roasted and salted. I’d follow anyone into hell for them!
