Happy Birthday to GH’s Theo and Erik Olson — See How They’ve Grown!
Please join us in wishing a very Happy Birthday to Theo and Erik Olson, who are still missed as GENERAL HOSPITAL’s adorable Wiley! Unfortunately, this year, their celebration was impacted by the coronavirus pandemic even more so than last year. “Unfortunately, we all have COVID,” Mom confided, sharing a pic of the boys wearing crowns in front of a big inflatable balloon shaped like the number four, “so even though we were in isolation, we made do with what we had: balloons, yogurt cake (so easy and delicious!), lots of fun presents, but most of all, quality time with each other!
“We played board games and cuddled and played with all their new toys,” she added. “The boys thanked us for such a ‘special birthday day!’ So proud of our big boys! Crazy to think that last year we were celebrating with our GH family!”
Mom also shared additional pics in their Instagram stories, one of the twins dressed up as Catboy and Gekko from the PJ MASKS animated series, and another of them enjoying their cake with some… unusual birthday candles! “Lots of GH fans commented on how close Theo was to the flame when he was blowing out his candle at GH last year!” she wrote. “We clearly didn’t learn our lesson and used these big candles today because we couldn’t go out and buy smaller ones. (Don’t worry, they did a great job!)”
GH fans absolutely fell in love with Theo and Erik when they took turns playing Michael and Nelle’s son, Wiley, when he was born back in 2018. Unfortunately, the Olson Family moved to Paris in 2021, and the soap had no choice but to recast the role. Caleb and Kyler Ends, who had previously played Nathan and Maxie’s son, James, took over for a little while until December 2021 when Viron Weaver stepped in.
