Hayley Erin Shares Her Amazing Christmas Family Reunion — See the Pics!
Fans may miss seeing Daytime Emmy Award winner Hayley Erin on soaps like GENERAL HOSPITAL, where she played Kiki Jerome, and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, where she played Abby Newman, but the actress also misses the life she left behind in America. After marrying Adam Fergus and moving to Ireland, Erin later gave birth to beautiful twin girls, but being so far away (and with COVID restrictions), it’s been years since she’s seen her extended family. But all that finally changed this Christmas!
“The best week of my life,” Erin enthused on Instagram, sharing photos of the marvelous family gathering. “This Christmas brought my two families together. My parents, brother, sister-in-law, grandparents, and BFFs Chloe Lanier (ex-Nelle, GH) and Kevin McClellan, came to visit and meet the girls for the first time. Despite a few setbacks — gravity attacking my brother and breaking his shoulder, COVID is everywhere — we persist! Best week of my life.”
Still, Erin acknowledged that not everyone in the world was as lucky as she was this holiday season. “Wishing everyone who was unable to get home or who spent the day in isolation a magical holiday nonetheless,” she declared, “and hoping you get to be with your loved ones soon. I know your pain; my reunion has been two years in the making. Sending love and good vibes to all! And a Happy New Year!”
