Jophielle Love Had an “Epic” Trip to Peru — See the Pics!
In early December, GENERAL HOSPITAL star Jophielle Love (Violet) added another stamp to her passport when she and her family visited Peru and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World!
“I have to say, it was pretty amazing to be able to go with my family to Peru and discover Machu Picchu!” the 9-year-old confessed on Instagram, sharing some of her favorite snapshots from her vacation with dad Jade, mom Karine, and brothers Raphael and Gabriel. “The people, the alpacas, the lost temple, taking the train through the jungle… We had an epic time.”
Often referred to as “The Lost City of the Incas,” Machu Picchu is a 15th-century citadel built into a ridge of the Andes Mountains in South America. As the most-recognized icon of the Inca Empire, it is estimated that over 1.5 million tourists visit the archaeological site each year — that’s about 2,500 people every day!
