GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Sofia Mattson Celebrates Her Wedding Anniversary!

May and June is “wedding season” — which means that not only are lots of lovely ladies saying “I Do,” but brides from years past are taking to social media to share photos from their beautiful weddings! Case in point: GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Sofia Mattsson (Sasha), who just celebrated her 5th wedding anniversary with her husband, actor Thomas Payton!

The Swedish-born GH star shared a gallery of stunning photos from the couple’s Santa Monica wedding day on Instagram over the weekend as she cheered to another year of wedded bliss with the love of her life. “The day I became the luckiest girl in the world 🤍💫,” she wrote. “Happy anniversary weekend, my love! 🥂”

    Surrounded by their six bridesmaids and six groomsmen, the newlyweds shared a kiss as the gorgeous Santa Monica beach and palm trees made for a stunning backdrop.

    The glowing bride clutched a beautiful cascade of ivory and cream flowers while her attendants — including her sister, actress Helena Mattsson, on the left — carried round bouquets that included pale pink roses to match their pretty bridesmaids' dresses.

    True love! Clutching one another’s hands, Mattsson and Payton became Mr. and Mrs. as they exchanged vows.

    The stunning centerpieces on the tables for the reception were bigger versions of the bridesmaids’ bouquets, complemented by votive candles for a glowing ambiance.
