Sonny and Nina’s Wedding Album

Sonny and Nina fans were thrilled when the couple finally tied the knot on GENERAL HOSPITAL. Although their detractors noted that the fact that the intimate ceremony took place in the episode that aired on Friday, Oct. 13, was a bad omen for their future happiness! (Never mind that GH was preempted on Tuesday that week, so the episode actually should have aired on Thursday the 12!)

When Nina was overwhelmed with wedding preparations, Sonny suggested that they go to his island in Puerto Rico and just elope. And not wanting to do another big, splashy wedding, Sonny was thrilled when she agreed. And thankfully, they were able to get some of their family to come along for a little fun in the sun!

The small group gathered together to watch Nina and Sonny exchange heartfelt, personal vows before the priest led them through the official ones and pronounced them man and wife. However, after Sonny kissed the bride and everyone celebrated their union, things took a turn when Michael excused himself to take a call from his contact looking into who turned Carly and Drew in to the SEC.

So as everyone cut the cake and toasted to the newlyweds, Michael had a grim look on his face that didn’t bode well for the couple’s future. Still, whether or not Sonny and Nina live happily ever after, no one can deny that their tropical wedding was picture-perfect.
